The goal

Build words crossword-style on the board. When the game ends, the higher total score wins.

Your turn

Drag tiles from your rack onto the board. Words read left to right or top to bottom, and every word must connect to tiles already played — the very first word must cover the ★ centre square. Tap Submit when you're happy. You can also plan your next move while your opponent is thinking.

Scoring

Each letter has a value. Coloured squares multiply your score: DL/TL double or triple a letter, DW/TW double or triple the whole word — but only on the turn they're first covered. Blank tiles can be any letter and score 0.

Bingo: play all 7 of your tiles in one turn for a +50 bonus.

Brand bonus: spell PROMPT or PROTOCOL for an extra +50. 😉

Stuck?

Swap some tiles for fresh ones, or Pass — either way your turn is used. Six passes/swaps in a row ends the game.

Timers & fair play

If you chose a time limit, running out of clock loses the game. Going quiet for more than 5 minutes counts as a forfeit.

Game end

The game ends when the bag is empty and one player uses their last tile. Tiles left on your rack are deducted from your score — and if you played out, you also gain the value of your opponent's leftovers.

vPTC wagers

Both players stake the same amount of real vPTC from your ONA Wallet balance. The winner takes both stakes minus a 5% house fee; a tie returns them. Wagers are heads-up only and capped at ◇1,000 per game for now — set 0 for a friendly. Finish games to land your score on the all-time 🏆 Leaderboard!

Practice
